حَدَّثَنَا هَاشْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ اتَّبَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ فَوَضَعْتُ يَدَيَّ عَلَى قَدَمَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ أَقْرِئْنِي مِنْ سُورَةِ يُوسُفَ فَقَالَ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ شَيْئًا أَبْلَغَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hashim narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, Yazid ibn Abi Habib told me, from Abu 'Imran Aslam, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir al-Juhani, that he said: I followed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was riding, and I placed my hands on his feet and said, "Recite for me from Surat Yusuf." He said, "You will never recite anything more excellent before Allah, Mighty and Sublime, than 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak.'"
