حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ قَالَ انْطَلَقَ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى لِيُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ فَاتَّبَعَهُ نَاسٌ فَقَالَ مَا جَاءَ بِكُمْ قَالُوا صُحْبَتُكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْبَبْنَا أَنْ نَسِيرَ مَعَكَ وَنُسَلِّمَ عَلَيْكَ قَالَ انْزِلُوا فَصَلُّوا فَنَزَلُوا فَصَلَّى وَصَلَّوْا مَعَهُ فَقَالَ حِينَ سَلَّمَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَتَنَدَّ بِدَمٍ حَرَامٍ إِلَّا دَخَلَ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ شَاءَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Isma'il - meaning Ibn Abi Khalid - told us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'A'idh, a man from the people of Syria, who said: 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir al-Juhani set out for al-Masjid al-Aqsa to pray there, and some people followed him. He said, "What has brought you here?" They said, "Your companionship with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him; we wished to travel with you and greet you." He said, "Dismount and pray." So they dismounted and he prayed and they prayed with him. When he gave the salaam, he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, 'There is no servant who meets Allah, Mighty and Sublime, associating no partner with Him, and who has not been stained with unlawful bloodshed, except that he enters through whichever of the gates of Paradise he wishes.'"
