حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَّافٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَئِمَّةٌ مِنْ بَعْدِي فَإِنْ صَلَّوْا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا فَأَتِمُّوا الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ فَهِيَ لَكُمْ وَلَهُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُصَلُّوا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَلَمْ يُتِمُّوا رُكُوعَهَا وَلَا سُجُودَهَا فَهِيَ لَكُمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ.

Ishaq ibn 'Isa narrated to us, he said: 'Attaf narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Harmalah, from a man of Juhaynah, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "There will be rulers over you after me. If they pray the prayer at its proper time and complete the bowing and prostration, then it counts for you and for them; but if they do not pray it at its proper time and do not complete its bowing and prostration, then it counts for you but against them."
