حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ.

Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, he said: al-Layth - meaning Ibn Sa'd - narrated to us, he said: Ibn Shihab narrated to me, that Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham informed him, that he heard Abu Mas'ud Uqbah ibn Amr say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the fee of a soothsayer.
