حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَوْدِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ قَالَ لَقِيتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَحِبَهُ مِثْلَ مَا صَحِبَهُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَمَا زَادَنِي عَلَى ثَلَاثِ كَلِمَاتٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَغْتَسِلُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ فَضْلِ امْرَأَتِهِ وَلَا تَغْتَسِلُ بِفَضْلِهِ وَلَا يَبُولُ فِي مُغْتَسَلِهِ وَلَا يَمْتَشِطُ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ.

Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Ru'asi told us: Zuhayr told us, from Dawud ibn Abdullah al-Awdi, from Humayd al-Himyari, who said: I met a man among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who accompanied him as much as Abu Hurayrah accompanied him, and he added no more than three statements for me: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A man should not wash (ritually) with the leftover water of his wife, nor should she wash with his leftover water; and one should not urinate in the place where one bathes, nor comb one's hair every day."
