حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ حَنَشَاً الصَّنْعَانِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رُوَيْفِعَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَبْتَاعَنَّ ذَهَبًا بِذَهَبٍ إِلَّا وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ وَلَا يَنْكِحُ ثَيِّبًا مِنْ السَّبْيِ حَتَّى تَحِيضَ.

Ya'qub told us, saying: My father told us, from Ibn Ishaq: Ubaydullah ibn Abi Ja'far al-Misri told me, saying: someone who heard Hanash al-San'ani told me, saying: I heard Ruwayfi' ibn Thabit al-Ansari say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not sell gold for gold except weight for weight, nor should he marry a previously-married woman among the captives until she menstruates."
