حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ قَالَ مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ.

Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salama narrated to us from 'Asim ibn Bahdala from Abu Salih from Mu'awiya ibn Abi Sufyan: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - when the muezzin gave the call, he would say the like of his words.
