حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ قَدِمَ مُعَاوِيَةُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَخَطَبَنَا وَأَخْرَجَ كُبَّةً مِنْ شَعَرٍ فَقَالَ مَا كُنْتُ أَرَى أَنَّ أَحَدًا يَفْعَلُهُ إِلَّا الْيَهُودَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَلَغَهُ فَسَمَّاهُ الزُّورَ أَوْ الزِّيرَ شَكَّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Amr ibn Murrah, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, who said: Mu'awiyah came to Medina and addressed us, and he brought out a hairpiece and said: I never thought anyone would do this except the Jews. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was informed of it, and he called it false hair, or al-zir - Muhammad ibn Ja'far was uncertain.
