قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّا نُصِيبُ فِي الْبَيَاتِ مِنْ ذَرَارِيِّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَالَ هُمْ مِنْهُمْ.

He said: Abd al-Razzaq told us: Ma'mar told us, from al-Zuhri, from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utba, from Ibn Abbas, from al-Sa'b ibn Jaththama, who said: I said to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "We strike, in night raids, some of the children of the polytheists." He said: "They are of them."
