حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَاءَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَالسُّرُورُ يُرَى فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا لَنَرَى السُّرُورَ فِي وَجْهِكَ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ أَتَانِي مَلَكٌ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَمَا يُرْضِيكَ أَنَّ رَبَّكَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ لَا يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ إِلَّا صَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا وَلَا يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ إِلَّا سَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا قَالَ بَلَى حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ قَالَ قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا سُلَيْمَانُ مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ زَمَنَ الْحَجَّاجِ فَحَدَّثَنَا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَاءَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَالْبِشْرُ يُرَى فِي وَجْهِهِ فَذَكَرَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Kamil told us: Hammad, meaning Ibn Salama, told us, from Thabit, from Sulayman, freedman of al-Hasan ibn Ali, from Ubaydullah ibn Abi Talha, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came one day with joy apparent on his face. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, we indeed see joy on your face." He said: "An angel came to me and said: 'O Muhammad, does it not please you that your Lord, Mighty and Majestic, says: None of your nation sends blessings upon you but that I send blessings upon him tenfold, and none of your nation sends greetings of peace upon you but that I send greetings of peace upon him tenfold?'" He said: "Yes indeed." Affan told us: Hammad told us: Thabit told us, who said: Sulayman, freedman of al-Hasan ibn Ali, came to us in the time of al-Hajjaj, and told us, from Abdullah ibn Abi Talha, from his father, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came one day with cheerfulness apparent on his face - and he mentioned it.
