قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَدْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَكُونُ وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ.

He said: Musa ibn Dawud told us: Muhammad ibn Jabir told us, from 'Abd Allah ibn Badr, from 'Ali ibn Talq, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: There are not to be two witr prayers in one night.
