قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هِلَالٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا بَيْنَ خَلْقِ آدَمَ إِلَى أَنْ تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ فِتْنَةٌ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ.

He said: Husayn ibn Muhammad told us: Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah told us, from Humayd — meaning Ibn Hilal — from Hisham ibn 'Amir al-Ansari, who said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Between the creation of Adam and the establishment of the Hour there is no trial greater than the trial of the Dajjal.
