قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنِ الرَّبَابِ الضَّبِّيَّةِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى الْمَاءِ فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ قَالَ هِشَامٌ وَحَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ أَنَّ حَفْصَةَ رَفَعَتْهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
He said, Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Hisham told us, from Hafsa, from al-Rabab al-Dabbiyya, from Salman ibn Amir al-Dabbi: that he said: 'When one of you breaks his fast, let him break it with dates; and if he cannot find any, let him break it with water, for water is purifying.' Hisham said: And Asim al-Ahwal told me, that Hafsa attributed it to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
