قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيْنَ كَانَ رَبُّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ قَالَ فِي عَمَاءٍ مَا فَوْقَهُ هَوَاءٌ وَتَحْتَهُ هَوَاءٌ ثُمَّ خَلَقَ عَرْشَهُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
He said, Bahz told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us: Ya'la ibn Ata' informed me, from Waki' ibn Hudus, from his uncle Abu Razin al-Uqayli: that he said, 'O Messenger of Allah, where was our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, before He created the heavens and the earth?' He said, 'In a cloud, with no air above it and no air beneath it, then He created His Throne upon the water.'
