Abdullah narrated to us: Muhammad b. Bakkar narrated to me: Abd al-Rahman b. Abdullah b. Dhakwan narrated to us, from his father Abu al-Zinad, who said: I saw a man called Rabi'ah b. Abbad al-Dili, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passing through the lanes of Dhu al-Majaz — except that they followed him and said, "This is Muhammad b. Abdullah b. Abd al-Muttalib." He said: And a cross-eyed man, radiant of face, with two braided locks, followed him through the lanes of Dhu al-Majaz, saying, "He is an apostate, a liar." I said, "Who is this?" They said, "This is his uncle, Abu Lahab."
