حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ سَعْدٍ فَقُلْتُ بِيَدَيَّ هَكَذَا وَوَصَفَ يَحْيَى التَّطْبِيقَ فَضَرَبَ بِيَدَيَّ وَقَالَ كُنَّا نَفْعَلُ هَذَا فَأُمِرْنَا أَنْ نَرْفَعَ إِلَى الرُّكَبِ.

Mus'ab ibn Sa'd said: I prayed with Sa'd and placed my hands between my knees (in ruku). He struck my hands and said: 'We used to do this, but then we were commanded to raise our hands to our knees.'
