حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ كَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَسَمَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِذَا مَاتَ طَائِرٌ يَعْلُقُ بِشَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يُرْجِعَهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِلَى جَسَدِهِ يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُ اللَّهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sa'd ibn Ibrahim told us: My father told us, from Salih, from Ibn Shihab, who said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdullah ibn Ka'b told me, that it reached him that Ka'b ibn Malik said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The soul of the believer, when he dies, is a bird that feeds on the trees of Paradise, until Allah, Blessed and Exalted, returns it to its body on the day He resurrects it."
