حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ قَالَ أَتَانَا نَهْيُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْإِنْسِيَّةِ وَالْقُدُورُ تَفُورُ بِهَا فَكَفَأْنَاهَا عَلَى وُجُوهِهَا.

Ya'qub told us: My father told me, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Damrah al-Fazari told me, from Abdullah ibn Abi Salit, from his father Abu Salit, who said: The Messenger of Allah's prohibition against eating the meat of domestic donkeys reached us while the cooking-pots were still boiling with it, so we tipped them over on their faces.
