حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَابِسٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا ابْنَ عَابِسٍ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَفْضَلِ مَا تَعَوَّذَ بِهِ الْمُتَعَوِّذُونَ قُلْتُ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hashim ibn al-Qasim told us: Abu Mu'awiyah - meaning Shayban - told us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, that Ibn Abis al-Juhani said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Ibn Abis, shall I not inform you of the best of what those who seek refuge seek refuge with?" I said: "Yes indeed, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Say: 'I seek refuge in the Lord of the Daybreak,' and say: 'I seek refuge in the Lord of Mankind.'"
