Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Ya'la ibn Ata', from Umarah ibn Hadid al-Bajali, from Sakhr al-Ghamidi, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "O Allah, bless my nation in its early mornings." He said: So whenever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent out a raiding party, he would send it at the start of the day. And Sakhr was a merchant, and he would only send his young men out with goods at the start of the day, so his wealth grew abundant until he did not know where to put his money.
