حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ قَالَ عَفَّانُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَبُو زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِلَالُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَرِيفٌ مِنْ عُرَفَاءِ قُرَيْشٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ فَلْقِ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَشَوَّالًا وَالْأَرْبِعَاءَ وَالْخَمِيسَ وَالْجُمُعَةَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ.

Abd al-Samad and Affan told us, they said: Thabit told us - Affan said: "ibn Zayd Abu Zayd" - Hilal ibn Khabbab told us, from Ikrimah ibn Khalid, who said: An overseer among the overseers of Quraysh told me: My father told me that he heard directly from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever fasts Ramadan, then Shawwal, and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, will enter Paradise."
