حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبْزَى أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُشِيرُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّاحَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ.

Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Abu Sa'id al-Khuza'i, from Ibn Abza, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to point with his index finger during the prayer.
