Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Sufyan, Salamah ibn Kuhayl told us, from Dharr, from Sa'id ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza, from his father, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, led the dawn prayer and omitted a verse. When he had finished the prayer, he said, "Is Ubayy ibn Ka'b among the people?" Ubayy said, "O Messenger of Allah, was such-and-such verse abrogated, or did you forget it?" He said, "I forgot it."
