Isma'il ibn Ibrahim told us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq told us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Mu'awiyah, from Uthman ibn Abi Sulayman, who said: Safwan ibn Umayyah said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw me taking meat off the bone with my hand, and he said, "O Safwan." I said, "At your service." He said, "Bring the meat close to your mouth, for it is more wholesome and easier to digest."
