حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ مَمْلُوكًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ مِنْهُ فَدَعَا بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَاعَهُ.

Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Amr ibn Dinar, who said: I heard Jabir narrate that a man freed his slave to take effect after his own death; so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, called for him and sold him.
