حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَلَبَ وَسَأَلَ أَهْلَهُ الْأُدْمَ قَالُوا مَا عِنْدَنَا إِلَّا خَلٌّ قَالَ فَدَعَا بِهِ فَجَعَلَ يَأْكُلُ بِهِ وَيَقُولُ نِعْمَ الْأُدْمُ الْخَلُّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us, Abu Awanah told us, Abu Bishr told us, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, requested and asked his family for a relish. They said: We have nothing but vinegar. He called for it and began to eat with it, saying: What an excellent relish vinegar is!
