حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَمْرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ كُلِّ جَادٍّ بِعَشَرَةِ أَوْسُقٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ بِقِنْوٍ يُعَلَّقُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لِلْمَسَاكِينِ.

Ahmad ibn Abd al-Malik told us, Muhammad ibn Salamah told us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban, from his uncle Wasi' ibn Habban, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded that from every harvester, ten wasqs of dates, in a cluster, be hung in the mosque for the poor.
