حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ غَزِيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَسْعَدَ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ رَأَى نَاسًا مُجْتَمِعِينَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ فَسَأَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالُوا رَجُلٌ جَهَدَهُ الصِّيَامُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ الْبِرُّ الصِّيَامَ فِي السَّفَرِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Salamah told us, Bakr ibn Mudar informed us, Umarah ibn Ghaziyyah told us, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn As'ad ibn Zurarah, from Jabir ibn Abdullah: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on one of his journeys, saw people gathered around a man. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, asked, and they said: "A man exhausted by fasting." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not righteousness to fast while traveling."
