حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى وَحَسَنٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَمَثَلِ السُّنْبُلَةِ تَخِرُّ مَرَّةً وَتَسْتَقِيمُ مَرَّةً وَمَثَلُ الْكَافِرِ مَثَلُ الْأَرْزِ لَا يَزَالُ مُسْتَقِيمًا حَتَّى يَخِرَّ وَلَا يَشْعُرَ قَالَ حَسَنٌ الْأَرْزَةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Musa and Hasan told us, they said: Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The likeness of the believer is like a stalk of grain, which bends one time and stands straight another time; and the likeness of the disbeliever is like the cedar tree, which remains standing straight until it falls all at once without warning." Hasan said: "the cedar."
