حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا عَنْ الْغُسْلِ قَالَ جَابِرٌ أَتَتْ ثَقِيفٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ أَرْضَنَا أَرْضٌ بَارِدَةٌ فَكَيْفَ تَأْمُرُنَا بِالْغُسْلِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَأَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Musa told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, who said: I asked Jabir about the ritual bath (ghusl). Jabir said: Thaqif came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, "Our land is a cold land - how do you command us regarding the bath?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "As for me, I pour water on my head three times," and he said nothing more than that.
