حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا وَنَظَرَ إِلَى الشَّامِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَقْبِلْ بِقُلُوبِهِمْ وَنَظَرَ إِلَى الْعِرَاقِ فَقَالَ نَحْوَ ذَلِكَ وَنَظَرَ قِبَلَ كُلِّ أُفُقٍ فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ وَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا مِنْ ثَمَرَاتِ الْأَرْضِ وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مُدِّنَا وَصَاعِنَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us, from Jabir, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, one day looking toward Syria and saying, "O Allah, turn their hearts favorably." Then he looked toward Iraq and said the like of that, and he looked toward every horizon and did the same, and said, "O Allah, provide us from the fruits of the earth, and bless for us our mudd and our sa' (measures)."
