حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يُقِيمُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ يُخَالِفُهُ إِلَى مَقْعَدِهِ فَيَقْعُدُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُولَنَّ تَفَسَّحُوا.

Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "None of you should make his brother rise from his seat on the Day of Congregation and then go and sit in his place; rather let him say, 'Make room.'"
