حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الشِّغَارِ.

Abd al-Razzaq told us: Ibn Jurayj informed us: Abu al-Zubayr informed us that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade shighar (a form of marriage exchange without dowry).
