الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Shu'bah: Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman told us, from Muhammad ibn Amr ibn al-Hasan, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was on a journey and saw a man being crowded around and shaded, and he said: "What is this?" They said: "A man fasting." He said: "It is not righteousness - or, righteousness is not - to fast while on a journey."
