حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ لَمْ يَطُفْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ إِلَّا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا طَوَافَهُ الْأَوَّلَ.

Yahya told us, from Ibn Jurayj: Abu al-Zubayr informed me, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions did not perform sa'i between al-Safa and al-Marwah except once, their first circuit.
