حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ قَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ وَرَأَيْتُ أَنَا جَابِرًا يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ قَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَرَأَيْتُ جَابِرًا يُصَلِّي وَلَمْ يُسَمِّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'On the Night I was taken on the Night Journey, I passed by people whose lips were being cut with scissors of fire. I said: Who are these, O Jibril? He said: These are the preachers of your ummah who command people to do good but forget themselves, while they recite the Scripture. Do they not understand?'
