الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went out on a cold morning while the Muhajirun and the Ansar were digging the trench. They had no slaves to do it for them. When the Prophet saw their exhaustion and hunger, he said: 'O Allah, the real life is the life of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajirun.' They said in response: 'We are the ones who pledged allegiance to Muhammad, upon jihad, as long as we live.'
