الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) drew a line and said: 'This is man.' Then he drew a line beside it and said: 'This is his lifespan (ajal).' Then he drew another line further away and said: 'This is his hope (amal).' While a person is like this, the nearer line comes to him (i.e., death comes before he fulfills his hopes).
