حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُضَحِّي بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ يَضَعُ رِجْلَهُ عَلَى صَفْحَتَيْهِمَا وَيَذْبَحُهُمَا بِيَدِهِ وَيُسَمِّي وَيُكَبِّرُ.

Affan and Bahz told us, they said: Hammam told us: Qatada told us, from Anas, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to sacrifice two horned rams that were black-and-white, placing his foot on their sides and slaughtering them with his own hand, saying the name of Allah and the takbir.
