حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا قَالَ وَأَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ هَذَا ابْنُ آدَمَ وَهَذَا أَجَلُهُ وَثَمَّ أَمَلُهُ.

Affan told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us, and he mentioned a hadith, he said: And Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Bakr narrated to me, from Anas, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: "This is the son of Adam, and this is his appointed term, and there is his hope."
