حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ وَهِشَامٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا حَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ بِمِنًى أَخَذَ شِقَّ رَأْسِهِ الْأَيْمَنَ بِيَدِهِ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ نَاوَلَنِي فَقَالَ يَا أَنَسُ انْطَلِقْ بِهَذَا إِلَى أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ فَلَمَّا رَأَى النَّاسُ مَا خَصَّهَا بِهِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ تَنَافَسُوا فِي الشِّقِّ الْآخَرِ هَذَا يَأْخُذُ الشَّيْءَ وَهَذَا يَأْخُذُ الشَّيْءَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ عَبِيدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيَّ فَقَالَ لَأَنْ يَكُونَ عِنْدِي مِنْهُ شَعَرَةٌ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ كُلِّ صَفْرَاءَ وَبَيْضَاءَ أَصْبَحَتْ عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ وَفِي بَطْنِهَا.

Mu'ammal ibn Isma'il told us: Hammad ibn Zayd told us, from Ayyub and Hisham, from Muhammad, that is Ibn Sirin, from Anas, he said: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, shaved his head at Mina, he took the right side of his head with his hand, and when he finished, he handed it to me and said: "O Anas, take this to Umm Sulaym." When the people saw what he had specially given to her, they competed for the other side - this one taking something, and that one taking something. Muhammad said: I told this to Abida al-Salmani, and he said: "To have a single hair of his with me is dearer to me than every gold and silver treasure that has come to be on the face of the earth and in its depths."
