الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas: that a man said, "O Muhammad, O best of us and son of the best of us, O our master and son of our master," so he said, "Say what you normally say, and do not let Satan, or the devils, lead you on." He said one of two phrases: "I am Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah, His Messenger," or "I am Muhammad, the servant of Allah and His Messenger. I do not like that you raise me above my station which Allah, Mighty and Sublime, has placed me in."
