حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَسُرَيْجٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ أَثَرَ صُفْرَةٍ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا قَالَ إِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً عَلَى وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَالَ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yunus and Surayj told us, they said: Hammad - meaning Ibn Zayd - told us, from Thabit, from Anas, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a trace of yellow perfume on ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Awf, and said, "What is this?" He said, "I have married a woman for the weight of a date-stone in gold." He said, "May Allah bless you; hold a wedding feast, even if with only one sheep."
