حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَدِمَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَلَى الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ فَسَأَلَهُ مَاذَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْكُرُ بِهِ السَّاعَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ أَنْتُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ كَهَاتَيْنِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Mughirah told us, al-Awza’i told us, Isma’il ibn ‘Ubaydillah told us, he said: Anas ibn Malik came to al-Walid ibn ‘Abd al-Malik, who asked him, "What did you hear from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding the Hour?" He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say, "You and the Hour are like these two," [indicating two fingers held close together].
