حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ ابْنٌ لِأَبِي طَلْحَةَ لَهُ نُغَرٌ يَلْعَبُ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ مَا فَعَلَ النُّغَيْرُ.

Hashim told us, Sulayman told us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: Abu Talha had a son who had a small pet bird he used to play with. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "O Abu ‘Umayr, what happened to the little bird?"
