حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ سَمِعْتَ أَنَسًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ قَالَ نَعَمْ.

Hashim told us: Shu'ba told us, from Mu'awiya ibn Qurra Abu Iyas, who said: I said to him, Did you hear Anas narrate from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said concerning al-Nu'man ibn Muqarrin, The sister's son of a people is one of them, or, is from among themselves? He said: Yes.
