He said: Sometimes the time of prayer would come while he was in our house, so he would order the mat beneath him to be swept and then sprinkled with water, and then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would stand and we would stand behind him, and he would lead us in prayer. And their mat was made of palm-leaf fronds.
