Yazid ibn Harun told us: Humayd informed us, from Anas, that Umm Sulaym took him by the hand upon the arrival of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in Medina, and said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is my son Anas, and he is a boy who can write." Anas said, "So I served him for nine years, and he never said to me about anything I did, 'You did badly,' or 'What a bad thing you have done.'"
