حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ قِرَاءَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ مَدًّا.

Zayd ibn al-Hubab told us, he said: Jarir ibn Hazim al-Azdi, Abu al-Nadr, told me: Qatadah told us, from Anas ibn Malik, that the recitation of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was drawn out with prolonged vowels.
