حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ جَاءَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ يُضْحِكُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ مُتَقَلِّدَةً خِنْجَرًا فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا تَصْنَعِينَ بِهِ يَا أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَتْ أَرَدْتُ إِنْ دَنَا مِنِّي أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ طَعَنْتُهُ بِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hammad ibn Usamah told us, from Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah, from Thabit, from Anas, who said, "Abu Talhah came on the day of Hunayn to make the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, laugh at Umm Sulaym. He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, have you not seen Umm Sulaym wearing a dagger strapped on?' The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her, 'What are you going to do with it, O Umm Sulaym?' She said, 'I meant that if any of them came near me, I would stab him with it.'"
